Trish is another beautiful friend from high school that I have had the great joy to photograph recently. Trish has always been a big cheerleader for my work and business (xx), and we had been talking for a while about organising a session to capture her partner Rowan’s girls and their family life. Seeing as I had only met Chloe & Anna once before and we expected them to be a little shy at the start of our session, we decided to start our day with something to distract them from me and my camera, so they made lamingtons together.
A big thank you to Chloe for testing the light beforehand so we knew when would be the best time to photograph in the kitchen!

Then we headed to a local park where Trish’s grandfather used to take her as a little girl.
Chloe is so intelligent, and just stunning – I almost wish this image was in colour so you could see how amazing her complexion is and the perfect shade of auburn that her hair is. She was so easy to photograph!
Anna is one funny kid - she had me in stitches as I edited these images full of her crazy faces! Anna had turned 5 years old only the week before our session, so was a little more interested in playing with her birthday gifts than having her photograph taken, but she still obliged ;-)

We have finally finished documenting the first year of Grace! She wasn’t a happy chappy at all on this day, but she still managed a little smile here and there for me. I can’t believe a year has already passed, and she is standing, and chatting and becoming such a little girl!

Amanda’s brother has been living in the USA for the past few years and has just come home for good, so we had to get some shots of Grace with her very proud uncle!
And lastly, a look at Grace over the past 12 months, at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months – so grown up now!!

Diana is an old friend from school days, and she and her fiance Jonny have asked me to photograph their wedding this coming August, which I am completely thrilled about! Jacob is Diana’s son, so with this engagement session, it seemed only right to not only photograph the happy couple, but to include a quick family session to capture what this relationship will be creating – a new family.

After a change of clothes, and leaving Jacob with his aunty for the afternoon, we headed into Brisbane City to find some unique locations for some romatic, playful and sexy engagement portraits.
Too many favourites to keep this post short ….
Thank you so both so much for really embracing the spirit of an engagement session, and really just having a lot of fun with this. I hope you agree that these images portray the essence of your relationship and your love for each other perfectly!
