This is the very first time I have experienced the joy of seeing a clients child growing up – and I love it! Tealia & Luke received their pregnancy session as a gift from a friend, and then had me back for Brooklyn’s newborn session when she was 6 weeks old. Fastforward to now, and we’ve just finished Brooklyn’s 12 month session – it was so lovely to walk into their home to see this little person toddling around and look up at me with a very cheeky smile!
We started with replicating Brooklyn’s infamous piano photograph. We plan on doing this every year to show her growth against the same object.

And now at 12 months …
We began our session at home with some reading, before heading to the park for a lot of running around!

Then we headed back home for some cuddly family portraits – including Henry of course!

Meet the very charming, Jackson.
4 month old Jackson and I hung out for an afternoon last November while his parents celebrated at a wedding, and we had a fabulous time together! For one – he thought I was pretty funny :) He was such a happy baby and for me, a captive subject while I played with my new lens for the first time. Here are the results from a couple of mini sessions we had through the afternoon.
Firstly, the many faces of Jackson – these images were all taken within 10 minutes of each other!
